Pentucket Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Benn Johnson to Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer earlier this year. Formerly serving as a Business Banking Officer, Benn brings seven years of banking experience and a strong track record of developing meaningful client relationships to his new role.
In this new position, Benn will continue to support the Bank’s commercial lending efforts by actively developing and managing a portfolio of business clients. His responsibilities include originating and structuring business loans, evaluating creditworthiness, working with credit analysts on approvals, and ensuring timely loan closings. Benn also plays an essential role in portfolio management—monitoring loan performance, maintaining credit files, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
“Benn consistently demonstrates a client-focused mindset, analytical expertise, and the ability to foster long-term business relationships,” says Steve Jaskelevicus, CEO of Pentucket Bank. “His promotion reflects not only his impressive work ethic but his continued growth and impact across our commercial banking team.”
Benn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from DePauw University and has steadily built a well-rounded banking career. He is also deeply involved in the community, serving as Treasurer for the Greater Derry Community Health Services. A resident of Manchester, NH, Benn is based out of Pentucket Bank’s Salem, NH office at 234 North Broadway. Outside of work, Benn enjoys time with his dog, Moose—who is just as charming as he sounds.
