Pentucket Bank, an affiliate of River Run Bancorp along with Newburyport Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust, announced that Dwight B. Feeney has joined the bank as Executive Vice President, Senior Loan Officer. In the role, Feeney will lead the bank’s commercial lending team and help guide its continued growth throughout the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire.
With more than 18 years of commercial banking experience, Feeney brings extensive expertise serving businesses throughout southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley, along with deep relationships across the region’s business community. His experience spans commercial real estate, construction financing, C&I lending, SBA lending and credit structuring.
“Dwight understands this market, its businesses and its communities. His experience and relationship-focused approach are a natural fit for our model of combining local decision-making and personal service with the capabilities businesses need to grow,” said Stephen Jaskelevicus, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pentucket Bank. “He brings a tremendous depth of commercial lending expertise, along with the relationships and local knowledge that will be valuable to our customers and our team. We are thrilled to welcome him to Pentucket Bank.”
Feeney joins Pentucket Bank from Rockland Trust, where he served as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Center Manager for southern New Hampshire, leading a team of five commercial lenders and overseeing a $700 million loan portfolio. Prior to Rockland Trust, Feeney spent 17 years at Enterprise Bank & Trust Co., where he advanced from credit analyst to Senior Vice President. During his tenure, he managed commercial relationships from underwriting through portfolio management and developed a broad network of business owners, attorneys, accountants and other centers of influence throughout the region.
“Pentucket Bank stood out to me because of its ability to combine the personal relationships and responsiveness of a community bank with the sophisticated lending capabilities businesses need as they grow,” said Feeney. “The ability to make decisions locally, understand the businesses and communities we serve, and deliver solutions tailored to each customer is a powerful combination. I am excited to join a team that shares my belief that strong relationships are at the center of successful commercial banking.”
Feeney holds an MBA in finance from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.A. in management and finance from Assumption University. He is active in the community, serving on the boards of the Regional Economic Development Center, the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Foundation and Inspiring Futures, Inc., and as a board member and finance chair of the Greater Salem New Hampshire Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Salem New Hampshire Rotary Club and Salem Chamber of Commerce, and coaches Andover Little League and youth ice hockey.
A resident of Andover, Feeney enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and enjoying the outdoors throughout New England.
