Pentucket Bank has once again earned a 5-Star Superior rating from BauerFinancial, the nation’s premier Bank and Credit Union rating firm. For Pentucket Bank’s second quarter of fiscal year 2026, ending June 30, 2026, BauerFinancial ranked it among the strongest banks in the nation for excellence in areas that include capital strength, loan quality, and overall stability.
This marks the 137th consecutive quarter—34 years and counting—that Pentucket Bank achieved this elite rating as a “Best of Bauer Bank.”
“Community banks like Pentucket Bank are perfectly positioned to provide the specialized support that is unique to their area,” Karen L. Dorway, president of BauerFinancial, stated. “These banks promote local growth by investing back into the same neighborhoods their deposits come from. By fostering these local relationships, they are highly supportive of, and accountable to, their customers. This, in turn, allows them to anticipate new needs and desires and get the wheels in motion to satisfy those, as well.”
“We’re grateful to receive this recognition once more,” said Stephen Jaskelevicus, President and CEO of Pentucket Bank. “While we’re proud of what this rating says about the strength of our Bank, what matters most is what that strength allows us to do as we show up for our customers, support local businesses, and invest in the communities we call home. That’s the work our team cares deeply about, every day.”
Established in 1891, Pentucket Bank has been reinvesting in its local communities for 135 years. Today, its focus remains as it always has: meeting the needs of its customers and communities, even as those needs continue to evolve.
