With more than 40 years of banking experience, John Moynihan brings extensive expertise in treasury management and business banking, helping organizations identify cash management solutions that support their financial goals and growth. He works with clients across the commercial and industrial, municipal, and commercial real estate sectors, developing relationships with businesses with revenues of up to $900 million.
At Pentucket Bank, John works closely with internal and external partners to develop new client relationships and helps new commercial customers transition smoothly from their previous financial institution. He also works with Pentucket Bank’s retail team to identify opportunities to meet clients’ needs through the Bank’s cash management solutions.
John holds a Master of Business Administration from New Hampshire College in Manchester, N.H., and a B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant College in Smithfield, R.I. He is a member of New England AFP, the New Hampshire Government Finance Officers Association, the Massachusetts Collectors & Treasurers Association, and the Merrimack Valley Adventure Club.
John is active in the communities he serves. He is a past vice chair of the Hampstead School Board and past chair of the Hampstead Budget Committee. He is a charter member and past president of the Greater Salem Rotary Club, a member of the Southern New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, and a past treasurer and current board member of the Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce.
A resident of Windham, John enjoys traveling, hiking and walking. He lives with his wife, Heather, and has two children, Mike and Melissa.
