The Pentucket Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $2,500 to Si, Se Puede, Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting children and teens from low-income households in Lawrence, MA. The donation will provide essential school supplies and personal care items for 10–12-year-old students whose parents are deceased or incarcerated, ensuring they are prepared for the school year.

Si, Se Puede, Inc. provides academic support, educational and cultural enrichment experiences, and other forms of support to children and teens from low-income households residing in the Merrimack Courts Public Housing and Lower Tower Hill neighborhood in Lawrence. Its goal is to close the opportunity gap between these youth and their peers in more affluent households in Lawrence and surrounding communities

“Children served by Si, Se Puede face significant barriers,” said Pentucket Bank President and CEO Steve Jaskelevicus “Limited access to nutritious food and a safe living environment can prove to be challenging. Fortunately, an organization like Si, Se Puede is there, helping these children by focusing on their well-being. Support for what they do is imperative and we are proud to help.”
