Strengthening the Protection You Trust

Safeguarding your financial information has always been a top priority at Pentucket Bank. As part of this update, we’re introducing additional security measures to further reinforce the protection already in place.

Updated Password Requirements

Effective March 18, 2026

To align with evolving security best practices, your Online and Mobile Banking password must:

  • Be 12–16 characters long

  • Include at least one:

    • Uppercase letter

    • Lowercase letter

    • Number

    • Special character

Allowed special characters:
! @ # $ % ^ & * _ + - = ( ) [ ] { } | : ; ’ , . / ?

If your current password does not meet these criteria, you’ll be prompted to update it when you log in beginning March 18.

You may also choose to update your password before March 18 to ensure a smooth transition.

Advanced Fraud Monitoring

Your mobile banking app will soon include behavioral analytics designed to help identify unusual activity. This technology analyzes patterns such as:

  • Keystrokes

  • Mouse movements

  • Navigation habits

If activity appears out of the ordinary, additional safeguards may activate to help protect your account.

Refreshed eStatement Landing Page

When logging in to view eStatements, you may notice an updated landing page design. This is a visual update only and does not affect your access to statements or account history.
